1) About trading a) I don't really have an idea. Maybe pre-war weapons, pre-war objects like glasses (to drink), books, newspaper, shoes, clothes, sofas, part of buildings ? There's a lot of useless things we can find in the desert. Weapons and vehicles (at least part of them) could be useful. That's really the only thing that might be valuable to the trade. b) Maybe more like 2 horses for a barrel of oil. But now that we could start relationship with NRF, why coulnd't we adapt our vehicles to wood fuel ? So, we wouldn't trade Sons for oil but for more weapons and food. I think we could exchange up to 20-50 horses. I'll let you discuss this, Lirik, so we can find a good arrangement for us and Sons. c) Not trading, but diplomatic could be fine. NRF and Sons might provide us all we need. But a diplomatic mission could be really good. d) Ahah, yes, exactly. We need to discuss wisely our choices about them. It's going to be hard to well-trade with them. They seem so stranger to us, Turkmen...
My next post will be about the other points.

1) About trading a) Pre-war machinery and electronics, produced with accuracy that is too hard to achieve today. b) Why do you want to trade reliable transport (Horses) for not that much of fuel that could be used in vehicles we cannot use to it's full potential (Mainly due to lack of skilled drivers and mech's)? c) Why not to trade? We could make some profit (Machinery, some simple electronics) of it. We can try to establish trade chain between NRF and Temples and get some profit of it. One side get's food, other - machinery, and we get both. d) Diplomatic contact, better - some kind of alliance (If we're not going to fight for Minerva). At least - information exchange, both we and them in need of it. Also, it could be good to get some AT and AA man-portable systems, otherwise Minervan forces could destroy any sizeable forces on the move.
2) About war a) It's too dangerous to attack now, as I'm concerned. We should let Minerva turn it's back to us first. Until then... Hit&run and diversions. Soldiers must be tired of endless ghosthunt, and their oil (Or - power in general) supply must run dry. Until then - on any large attack their mechanized cavalry will arrive, killing those who are still alive after chopper strikes. b) We should intercept their supply convoys, if it could be done without too big risks. Otherwise - just mark attacks on them, force their troops to move as much as possible.

NRF trading suggession: Greetings and salutations, fair people of the South! We bring you the offer of peace, trade and friendship from our mighty New Russian Federation. As our gesture of good will, ambassador, accept this set of finely crafted jewelry to keep it as a memento of this fateful moment. We are sure that the goods we have will be of interest to you, and that your goods will be valuable to us. The sea makes a fine trading route, so it won't be hard to establish a fruitful trade between our nations. We can offer you fine northern wood to be used both as building or crafting material or fuel, charcoal to fuel your houses and factories. We can provide you with wood gas generators and engines that run on this gas, allowing you to fuel your vehicles by simple wood that is much cheaper than oil. We can even build vehicles or ships for you, should we establish friendly relations. If you need good and reliable metal tools, we can provide them as well. If you require weapons to hunt we can offer you smoothbore guns and ammo, as well as even cheaper crossbows, made as efficient as possible with the modern technology - so you won't have to risk valuable combat guns for mundane tasks. We can also provide you with food, should the Desert become rough. Crops, meat and fish or concentrated food can be traded. If you require something more exquisite and foreign, we can trade jewelry to display your prosperity or bring you rare furs of northern animals or sweet honey that is surely second to no other tasty treat. I am sure you have a lot to trade as well. You can tell us your offer and needs while you examine the samples of our goods we brought with us.

Why do you want to trade reliable transport (Horses) for not that much of fuel that could be used in vehicles we cannot use to it's full potential (Mainly due to lack of skilled drivers and mech's)? I don’t think we have many vehicles, in al Elmi tribe mainly. I think Adriano wants to organize a kind of assault group with it. And we have not decided what to ask for horses.
Why not to trade? I have sent an invitation once, they ignored it. We can send a mission this turn or later.
It's too dangerous to attack now, as I'm concerned. Agree. We need more information.
Hit&run and diversions. Agree. But to attack their convoys and supply bases we need more information. Maybe we should organize a kind of intelligence web? Send groups to receive information?

2) about war a) Yes, scouting and using NRF and SOns to get more intel b) I think it's too early, and the Fort is too well defended. c) I'd love to send my warriors raid this community, pillaging it, and then burning the settlment. An act in order to make Minerva fear us, without getting too much injuried in the process (only a bit of soldiers).
So, Lirik, forget about your plan. Or we're going to be crushed.

My reaction to dwergar 1)a) agree b) Like Lirik said, it's to make an assualt group with fast move using the vehicles, and even more by asking to NRF some light vehicles more. c) Agree. We could get a lot of advantage by serving of intermedients. d) My tribe do have some AT and AA weapons. But not enough for all the Turkmen forces, for sure. 2)a) I totally agree, it's too dangerous to go alone, take this with you. b) Hm, agree too I think.

This is what Rat told me about what we could offer to NRF :
I think cotton must be irradied, and oil we don't have it. Slaves and good from China seem good, no ?

Points out, just not to forget:
1) Things we are going to sell. a) Prewar plates and dishes (maybe made of silver or porcelain), jewelry (even cheap bijouterie may seem expensive for post nuclear war society), different toys and board games. Prewar shoes and closes will hardly ever be in good condition after such a long time. b) Books. Really good source of knowledge I think. c) Horses, camels, falcons. How many of them? d) Weapons. Do we have enough not only for our needs but also to trade? e) Pre-war machinery and electronics, produced with accuracy that is too hard to achieve today. Do we have enough of them for us? Is it in good condition? f) A trade route between Temples, Sons and NRF. We will send a diplomatic mission this turn. What can we ask? Weapons, electronic gadgets, slaves for NRF.
2) Things we are going to buy. a) AT and AA man-portable systems. Guns, pistols, rifles, ammunition. b) Fuel. How much of it? c) Some explosives for diversions? Old fashioned dynamite at least.
3) War. a) We are not to attack the fort. b) Should we send extra scout groups? To find out their bases, supply routes, guard routes. c) I'd love to send my warriors raid this community, pillaging it, and then burning the settlement. Minerva is used to protect its settlements. Don’t you think that someone like Celeres may come (from the fort or other base) and destroy your attacking group? What you can get there except food?

Answer to Lirik latest post : 1)a) Okay, I get it. b) Yep, I agree. But maybe we won't trade the books themsleves but the copies we could make out of them (so we can trade only chapters from a single book, so we will have "more" to trade). c) I think we could be able to trade max one-two hundred of each from all the tribes. d) I don't think so. Or if we have enough to trade, it's all small calibers and not heavy weapons. e) Yep, we have enough. It's in good condition because even if we may not know everything about them, we can repair them and maintain them in good condition. Plus, books may help. f) I'd go for weapons, ammo and slaves for NRF. Maybe electronic parts to renovate vehicles and other electronics things we find in the desert. 2) a) Totally agree. We need them. b) Hm I don't really know. I'd say "plenty of it". Like one nowadays tanker (the truck). Or two of them. At least. c) Yeah okay, if you think we'll need it. But I thought we were more like "sneak and go", without making big explosions, just exploding doors or bunker doors, not a whole building. 3) a) Exactly. b) Maybe yeah, but I'd like first to see what the other factions can give us for intel. But it's still more prudent to launch a couple of spies. But not much. Because if we move too much, Minerva will notice it and will renforce their defenses on our side. We just can't allow it. c) But if we move fast enough and by night, we might raid the community before reinforcements come. And I need food. I can also take weapons from the ennemy soldiers. And, I need to train and entertain my troops until the reinforcements arrive. I'm thinking on making an advanced base on Urganch. So for this turn I will send reinforcement and logistic troops to get a supply line between Urganch and Asgabat. I need also to fortify Urganch if Minerva send troops from Big Fort. Maybe you guys could distract them by attacking another point ? Maybe the fort itself ? I don't know, something. I really think like I need to establish me in Urganch to get a solid base where to send my soldiers and were they can retreat after attacking. It's important. Now it'll be an advanced base, but then I'll turn it in a rear base. Now, please react and comment it.

Also, how much pre-war machinery they can buy?

But if we move fast enough and by night, we might raid the community before reinforcements come. And those reinforcements may decide to punish those insolent raiders. And start hunt you down. Maybe you guys could distract them by attacking another point ?
And here we go for the first plan with attacking the community and the fort and our decision not to act this way. And here is the list of actions we are going to make soon:
1) Start trading with Sons. To ask: ? barrels of fuel, ? kilos of explosives (stable!), ? packs of food, cotton for NRF (do not say that is for them). To offer: 50 horses, 50 camels, ? falcons, no fennecs , books, machinery and electronic gadgets (what exactly and how many?), other staff. 2) Send diplomatic mission to Russian landing place. It will be the same we sent for Sons. Start trading. To ask: Tools, food, explosives. To offer: Our cotton, Sons cotton (if there is any) books, machinery and electronic gadgets (what exactly and how many?), slaves from Temples. 3) Send diplomatic mission to Temples. It will be the same we sent for Sons. Start trading. To offer: food! (checked for no human flesh! ) To ask: slaves, machinery, equipment and electronic gadgets, weapons and explosives. War.
Al Elmi will send reinforcement and logistic troops to get a supply line between Urganch and Asgabat. They will also start fortifying Urganch and start making a base from their camp. Adriano The Fabulous Fennec, are you to attack anyway? What we are going to do with intelligence? Or do we produce cotton or moist clothes ?
I have already forgot about our faction description (shame for me): “It is also not uncommon to see them with advanced technology stolen from Minerva”. So I think yes, we can have some hydroponic cotton farms. Our spies stolen this technology, our engineers and farmers are skilled enough to maintain it. Also I think we can gain something else) I think it's better to let Lirik do it, no ?
I am not really into dealing with all this by myself so feel free to discuss topics you want with other factions, but make sure other Turkmen know the same information as you. And don’t tell our secrets.

And those reinforcements may decide to punish those insolent raiders. And start hunt you down.s***. I guess you're right... 1) To ask : Is 20 barils reasonable ? So we have stock for later. A hundred kilos I think. Up to 500 kilos. 100 packs of food high in energy (sugar) and in proteins to build our turkits. We'll ask more food for mob centers, too. Like 200 packs, non-perishable food (salted meat ?). To offer : 10 or 20 tamed falcons (high value cuz hard to tame them). 2) what exactly and how many? I don't have a clue. Let my night be my councelor. To ask : vehicles, god dammit ! I mean, allah dammit ! Al Elmi will send reinforcement and logistic troops to get a supply line between Urganch and Asgabat. They will also start fortifying Urganch and start making a base from their camp.
For this I need dwergar assistance. His tribe is made of a lot of mecanicians, and I need them in Urganch to prepare garages for my vehicles. And to help building the base. If he agrees of course Are you to attack anyway? Ahahah, no, not this turn. You convinced me What we are going to do with intelligence?I'm thinking on sending only 5 groups further. Really far away the ones from another. And wait for NRF and Sons informations, in exchange of the position of Big Fort and the non-presence of other threats on our region. Okay, we have cotton
I am not really into dealing with all this by myself so feel free to discuss topics you want with other factions, but make sure other Turkmen know the same information as you. Okay, but my relations with rat are making me the diplomat for NRF. But for Sons, I was hoping you Lirik would be the voice of the Desert Free Tribes.
And don’t tell our secrets. I'll do my best xD
