UPD of October 27, 2014.We are to start. Congratulations! As you can get from an official submission we know about Celeres failure. 1) Organizational questions. reddreamer, soulreaper6199 are you still with us? I think it is better for us to describe other soldiers of our faction. Now only about 800 out of 1800 were described. Maybe, general features only. 2) Long term goals. Take a G.E.C.K from Minerva. Get to know where it is stored, protection systems and guards there are. Get information about the machine creators. MAybe they have something usefu; 3) Short term goals. Get to know what is going on. Think about possible opportunities for cooperation/assault. Possible actions: Send trade caravans accompanied by diplomat to Sons and Temples for trading and collecting rumors. Look for any signs of preparations for attack. Someone have to protect them of course. Diplomats are to establish relations, maybe try to sign a non-aggression agreement. Send scouts to Minerva’s territory. Try to avoid battles, just watching. Do something to stop other factions’ spies. Tribes are always on the move, so there might be no need to patrol territories in the middle. Maybe to establish some frontier guard-posts on main roads and several groups to patrol small paths. Start mobilization. Think about possible ways to attack.

Maybe I'm weird but I'm thinking on traps. Like small tribes protecting the big ones by making some ambushes and making some "fortress". You understand ? Fortified shelters, like what they did for the Maginot Line in France, in 1939. A line of bunkers with machine guns and so. Big tribes could send materials to smal oens to do this. Start mobilization. Think about possible ways to attack.Yep. Where should we join, for example ? Then, we shoudl try to steal some bio-diesel from Minerva. My tribe really need it for its vehicles. Finally, as I said, the best way to attack is to run quick and fast to the MInerva HQ.

Maybe we should go as fast as we can to Minerva HQ and let the guards deal with other threats.
Today (late summer), your scouts bring back word that troop movement and activity in Minervan territory is much much lower than normal.
I think that they are consolidating all their forces at their HQ. In my opinion they will heal wounded, repair their vehicles and then go out. We may face all their forces in well-fortified positions. Rush tactic works with weak enemy.
Fortified shelters, like what they did for the Maginot Line in France, in 1939. A line of bunkers with machine guns and so.
It took them about 5 years and 3 billion francs to build the Maginot Line. They used different machinery and equipment. And it was broken by Germans. We may fortify (somehow) shelters we already have. Dig a deeper draw-wells to have extra water, for example. Set traps around (deep hidden hole is the simpliest), organise ambushes as you said, build banks (I'm not sure it will work with desert sand)... We may also try to make something like Romans' concrete. Where should we join, for example?
I don’t know. We should choose the direction for attack first.

Okay. I think you might be right. So, what do we do ? Do we just gather our forces and wait ? Or shall we advance toward Minerva HQ ? Or raid small villages near us ?

Roman concrete. But it reqires some water. Okay, but how much do we need of this concrete ? And where will we make it ? In all big shelters or only in one site or two ? And we need to know how much people will make it and how much long.

We can build it as a fence around big vaults that are not far away from border. It is no use to protect vault hidden in the desert. And for concrete… Not to translate all my science of materials summaries, I’ll just say that sand in desert is different from one we have in sandboxes. It consist of smaller, drier and more roundish (or even spherical) particles abs it is difficult to use it for needs of construction. Some desert regions even have to buy sand for building. So it no use to just dig a hole and make a sand wall. It ‘ll be soon destroyed by wind. So we need to fasten particles of sand in the wall in some way. To build two walls and put sand between them. Or use thin lay of concrete for wall to maintain the shape. Add a piece of game magic and it will work. It can easily be destroyed by tank, but may help against bullets. Not to build anything and relay on ours vaults walls is also an opportunity.
Okay, but how much do we need of this concrete ? And we need to know how much people will make it and how much long.
Have no idea. Costs estimation lessons were a couple of years ago. If only women and children will take part in, maybe about a month or two.
And where will we make it? In all big shelters or only in one site or two ?

Or we can attack from 3-5 directions. East (I), Middle (you), West (someone else). Eastern and western groups will just attack, grab what they need and run away to the middle group. Your group may attack and capture middle territory and create a position for reunion. If you won’t succeed, wait for others and we will attack them from 3 different sides at the same time. Or we may wait for our scouts to return with information.

So, here is a list of actions we are going to make this Friday. Please comment.
1) Send 14 groups of scouts on Minerva territories. Try to avoid battles, just collect information. They travel in the group of three. A group has two carrier falcons. A group is also equipped with binocular or riflescope. They move on horses and camels one for each soldier and one for luggage. They are to use falcons only in case of emergency.
2) Start patrolling eastern and western borders. Organize a line of hidden guard posts with a radio transmitter, horses, carrier falcons and courier. Group of two soldiers are to patrol their part of border. After finding something interesting, one of them goes to the closest guard post, and they deliver a message to tribe’s shelter. Number of guards?
3) Start mobilization. Create a line of 10-12 mobilization centers at the distance of 4 hours of horse riding from Minerva territories. Each ( of three) main tribes control 3-4 centers. A center is to provide food, water, shelter, weapons for about 150 warriors each. Recourses are provided by all tribes (big and small). Groups of warriors should choose a target to attack, joint the forces if it is needed. Are we to attack this turn or next one?
4) Evacuate women and children to middle territories under a small guard. Some of them may be evacuated to big empty vaults, such as Adriano has. New residents are to participate in building of different fortifying constructions around theirs new homes.

3) Okay. I will send a vanguard to the point I told you, just above my territory. To "taste" the terrain and raid it. In fact it's because I really need to get bio-fuel. Then I wil come back to my mob center for the vehicles.
4) Yep they could go in Shervan, for example. Now it's empty. But yeah I will move all my soldiers to Ashgabat and then to the mob centers. Lefting for citizen Shervan and Sabzevar.

Well, our borders are long, but as soon as we live in desert there should be just a number of safe routes starting from an shelter or oasis. Lets there will be 4-5 such rioutes on each borderand we need 20-25 soldiers to guard each and territories nearby. So I think about 150 on the eastern site and about 100 to guard our shore of Caspian sea.
I will send a vanguard to the point I told you, just above my territory.
Ok. Let consider it as a probing action. Please write number of soldiers you will send, way they move (vehicles, on foot etc) and other details you want.
Then I wil come back to my mob center for the vehicles.
Don't forget to guard them)
Oh, the first task for our scouts groups is to find exact locations of small villages, it's guards and protection systems and send this information to mob center. There is no need to go back, just send falcon or a courier.
