I am ok with some of the genetically modified animals (modified before the people) escaped the labs to the deserts, and that some may have been domesticated by the Turkmen. These would be things like genetically modified war dogs, that are just slightly bigger, smarter, stronger. No flying hamsters that shoot lasers But if you want to propose a specific couple of animals that they use in their society or for battle, sure. I think Turkmen should have modified falcons for hunting. Or spying. Yeah, but I think they don't need that rule. I mean, they do have gears and equipment. So they don't need that rule, unless they go without equipment in the desert. It might be something they say to normal people, yeah, I think it can be good. But stalkers know their business. I don't think thex want to cross the desert, but maybe to establish themselve in the ruins of the arabian cities. Maybe they want to live there again, in peace, where nobody could attack them or bother them ? Maybe they want to create new plants, new buildings to live in the radioactive ruins. I don't know. But it could be a reason to invade Minerva, yes. Okay, I see. They might have captured farmers or found new papers (or letters) speaking about the high-tech of Minerva, and they really need it to survive in those radioactive areas. What do you think, Lirik ?

I was just making a suggestion/idea/brainstorming what could offend them. You don't have to do the spy thing. But yeah, my ideas was that they caught a spy. Or maybe when they caught the spy, the spy panicked and said that Minerva would come destroy them if they don't let him go. So now they feel that they have to declare war on Minerva before they come destroy them. Just an idea. The Turkmen probably trade with the Sons of Mohammed and Temples directly. The others are too far away. But we'll have to make sure that the leaders of those two factions still enjoy trading with you. They might decide they'd rather fight you in this game, so don't expect them to be allies Newpapers thing could be better than capturing a spy. And Minerva is angry against them cuz they raid Minerva. Yep, they could trade, so how can we procede to trade in the game ? Sending a message to the other factions ? PM their leader ?

Once leaders get established, yes, PMing leaders to try to make secret alliances and stuff, yup It'd be even cooler if you did it in character

If so, why doen't we launch diplomats every week, and then the diplomat shall speak to the other factiosn to get the trade ? But it might take too much time. Or being too complicated. What do you think, Admin ?

That is certainly something you can choose to do. Basically, in a given weekly "action", you would tell me you sent a diplomat to another group. The following week that faction would know, and would decide how they react. In that time you can PM eachother your diplomacy talks

Oh yeah, that could be fun ! Thank you very much !
So, we'll speak after the week we sent the diplomat but before they let you know their decision, right ?

Yup. After you send the diplomat you talk, and then they tell you what they're doing, as well as tell me (privately) what they're ACTUALLY doing

In my opinion, I think each of the members of the fourth faction should be the leader of their own tribe. And this forum would act like one of the councils of the heads. That would give each of us a lot more of freedom to choose how our tribe works. As an exemple : My tribe would be composed of 966 people. Half of them are children, non-soldier men and women and old people. The other half would be the fighting power. I'm thinking of having two regiments of foot and logistic soldiers and the rest would be divided in special forces.

This will work as long as we don't get TOO many participants. But I think it would work well for you guys The first # of players get to be the tribe leaders if they want to

Yeah I think it could be good to have each a tribe, but for now we're only three, so we might have to lead more than a tribe, right ?
And for your special forces : they could be the one with the best weapons found in the ruins.
And your tribe could trade a lot for war equipment. For example.

For my tribe, I'll first post my short story about Turkmen setting, is it okay, Admin ? Then we'll discuss possibilities on my tribe wideness and specs.
