I've seen a lot of really good ideas around here that could really shape some of the lore of The Demon Archives. Maybe not all will get used in THESE 5 factions and game, but could totally be used somewhere else

And by the way Patriarch is probably not the best name for Muslim leader. It sound rather Christian for me. The head of Orthodox church is called Patriarch. I think we should find a Muslim word.

I like the idea of these being a religious group. What about Pagans or even Aryans (as in neo-Nazism)? They are so obviously the 'Chosen People' of this new world that Minerva's resources should belong to them by 'divine right'! Basically, I'm thinking of a fundamentalist religious group, but without specifying what religion they have come from. It's an ancient local religion that has been 'rediscovered' (or made up!) by a charismatic leader shortly after WW3, and has grown quickly and fanatically (and if you're not a fanatic, you act like one or are hung by your neighbours!). Sort of a cross between fundamentalists (of any stripe) and how fascists act. They just believe that they are right, damnit, and the rest of you are in their way! Just happens to be Minerva this time; could be you next!
