Hi, Resident geek girl here. (Yes, really, I didn't mis-click the female button.) I'm mid-30s, in UK, and currently don't work because of illness. I used to be a secondary school (11-16yo) science teacher, particularly physics, but I've taught maths too. I read SFF, comics, manga and I've played tabletop RPGs, board games, war games and MMORPGs for years. Yep, I am a geek, and have the glasses and computer techie boyfriend to prove it! =) |

American, east coast, military family. I study small arms and ballistics as a hobby, now examining light vehicles also. I've hiked 50% of the Appalachian mountain range and I once used a fire extinguisher for an emergency.
