You need to be a logged in member to participate and be assigned a faction, because each faction/group is going to have a private board where you can plan in secrecy from the other groups. This is important because you might work together or against each other, so you deserve to have your plans not be made public.

So, respond and let me know your top 3 choices.

NOTE: The Russian faction is probably the best option for you if Russian is your native language and your English skills are poor. Also, if you DON'T speak Russian, you probably should pick a different faction than that one

1. Minerva. Mostly because I have experience with the kind of military organization Minerva seems to have, and they potentially have several subtle disadvantages that could limit their effectiveness. Having some experience with the limits of technological prowess, I may be able to help keep the sense of an inherent technological advantage without pushing into the realm of infallibility.

2. Turkmen. From the sounds of it, they might as well be Afghanistan or Iraq. I've always enjoyed wargaming as irregular/insurgencies, and I can come up with some nasty, sneaky tricks to overcome inherent Minervan technological advantages.

3. Great Khanate. Because wargaming post-apocalyptic Mongols are awesome. Seriously, if I had to build an army focused on building an empire, the Mongols would be my inspiration. The only reason they're last is because while they might be the most fun to play, they wouldn't be the area I could get the most creative with strategies and tactics.

Another option occurs to me, though; essentially an impartial adviser for the people who make the final decision on who wins what, where, and how effectively. I'm not sure if you guys have any other current/former military in the game, but I would suggest at least approaching one vet for variables that may not be obvious to someone without military experience.

Looking good so far. I've added you each to your first choices because, hey, you're first! It's balancing out nicely so far. People after this may not get first choice. I don't have anyone in Faction 2 - The Great Khanate, yet, so if that's one of your choices I might bump that up

can we have a thread similar to the faction threads for minerva, giving a bit of public knowledge background and showing the full territory map? for one thing, I want to know why there appears to be an outer and inner territory circle for minerva, looking at the other maps.
