I'd suggest a more grounded approach: caucuses region is historically muslim. More than that, it was rather aggressive branch of it, the kind that demands all infidels to be killed or subjugated. It would make sense for such violent beliefs to resurface during the violent times. So their motivation would be to simply expand their land and take what they want because their religion says they can and even should. I strongly dislike those "pure;y evil" factions tropes, so let's make it clear that it is only a portion of Caucasian people, some tribes that went on a violent road and that they are not all well loved by their own people too. Seems interesting, but I'm sorry, I don't want to get in that thing. You're too much realistic. Where's the fun of playing a game where factions can't be a bit crazy and unrealistic ? If you want realism, just do it in real life. Go to Ukraine with friends and play war. Here, I try to do something fun and cool. And you're all moralist with your "it ain't like that in real life" and so on. Take it easy and let us have fun ! God damn it, it's not an anticipation novel, it's a game ! Do you get it ? So we could be able to make up something funnym, crazy and where everyone could have fun. And if you have fun in realism, then your life must be boring. I'll let other people decide. If everyone is agreeing with you, I'll just leave, that's fine. I hope people will agree with me.
