Anti Material Shock rifle - Code named Zues. (code name subject to change.)
due to the sudden increase of danger due to armored vehicles and autonomous units, minervan scientists began work on a long range weapon to facilitate their take down. the result was the AMSR, more commonly called the zues.
the zues is a long range anti material rifle based upon a very old relic model known as the Pindad SPR-2, and while it is difficult to produce in high quantities, its effects upon armored and autonomous targets cannot be argued. the zues fires special .50 caliber hollow rounds that are filled with a highly reactive powder. it is not explosive however. when fired from the weapon, the rounds are electrically charged by three coils( one built into the firing mechanism and two more down the barrels length) the charged bullet will embed in a target only if the Armour is thick enough to stop the bullet, meaning the heavier the armour them ore effective it is. once stopped the electrical charge on the bullet has time to permeated the energetic powder (time for permeation ia roughly 1.9 - 2.6 seconds after firing), and facilitates the bullet itself to detonate fiercely. the detonation releases a short ranged electrical burst that cripples all but the most highly protected electrical systems, and systems and wiring that is struck by the zues's rounds can rarely be salvaged.
