I see what you mean. And anti-technologic religion seems logic as the Earth has been nuked by humans.

This religion could be the classic "Technology has destroyed the world, let's destroy technology !"
Some kind of moralist religion where technology is only accepted as a mean of moving troops.
Where technology and knowledge isn't allowed but for the priests ?

Or what about they fight like middle-age ? With swords, spears and other ? That will rock !!!
