The Order of the Pure Sisters : A guide to our Order for the Newcomers
First Chapter : History
The apparition of the Order is due to a question the Turkmen had about sterile women : what could they do with them ?
Indeed, we can see that in the early years of the turkmen history, a lot of people were dying and the only way to compensate it was to give birth to a lot of children.
Every woman had the duty to give birth at least to two children. But some women appeared to be sterile. Turkmen used as a solution the past examples : in the pre-war societies, women who did not have children had jobs and a working life very full. They were doing services for the society that men couldn't do (because they did not want or because they were not enough).
As those sterile women had no value for the tribes, they were sent into the desert by groups of two, carrying messages to other tribes so if one girl died, the other could make her way to the tribe and deliver the message.
It was a way to get rid of those useless women and a way to make them work for the Turkmen society.
With time, they acquired knowledge to survive in the desert and helped to create the famous turkit. As they were also used to spy enemy tribes forces, they get to learn how to be silent and how to become a good spy. Little by little though, they decided to stop being part of one tribe (as they were sometimes captured and tortured) and to make one big community : the Order was born. They choose an old pre-war bunker to make it their own shelter where to live, and called it The Chapterhouse. They started to work for all tribes in exchange of food, refined materials and members (always sterile women). Finally, males joined their rank in order to retire from the tribe common life and to teach those ladies how to handle a knife properly. Some males also joined their rank to provide, hum, specific services for a hundred of lone girls (if you know what I mean).
